ADP Workforce Now applications sent for you, from the verification code to the signed Submit

ADP checks a new candidate with a code before the form opens, and the last step asks for an electronic signature. In between, the employer picks the questions.

ADP Workforce Now is ADP’s all-in-one HR software, and its Recruitment module gives each employer a Career Center for its jobs. Career Center links open on workforcenow.adp.com. Some employers post on ADP’s MyJobs site at myjobs.adp.com instead.

A verification code, then six steps
Who uses it
Employers that run their HR on ADP Workforce Now and take applications through its Career Center, in the United States and Canada.

What actually happens

  1. You land on the Career Center

The posting sits on the employer’s ADP Career Center, at a workforcenow.adp.com address. Apply opens an account step headed "Join Our Talent Community".

  2. A code before the form

You give a name, an email and a mobile number. ADP sends a verification code and waits for it before the form opens. A returning candidate sees "Welcome!" and a request to check the saved profile.

  3. Six named steps

The form lists its six steps by name: Personal Information, Resume, Questions, Voluntary Self-ID, Review Your Application and Self-Attest & Submit. You press Next to move between them.

  4. Resume and the employer’s questions

The Resume step takes your file and answers "Bravo! We have your resume." Questions holds what the employer wrote, such as work authorization, visa sponsorship, start date or desired salary.

  5. Filled from your profile

We make the account, read the code from your GetMattered inbox, tailor the resume and answer each question from your profile.

  6. Signature and Submit

The last step asks you to agree to sign electronically and to type your full name. We sign with your name and press Submit, then keep the page ADP shows next with the application.

What trips people up

  • ADP warns that the email or mobile number behind the verification code is meant to be unique to you. Employer receipts also say to apply with the same email you used to log in to the career center.

  • Some employers add an optional box on the Resume step to opt out of having your resume reviewed by artificial intelligence.

  • The form follows the language in the posting link. A link carrying lang=es_US opens the whole application in Spanish.

  • Voluntary Self-ID covers veteran status, disability and gender. The race and ethnicity question has an "I decline to identify" choice.

How you know it landed

After Submit, the employer’s receipt comes from an adp.com address. It says the employer’s HR team sent it using ADP services. Its subject says your application for the position has been received. We keep that email and the page ADP shows after Submit with the application.

Questions people actually ask

On ADP Workforce Now, yes. The first step makes a candidate profile and checks your email or mobile number with a verification code. On GetMattered we make that profile and enter the code for you.

Each employer writes its own. ADP describes them as custom-built questions that help the employer filter for best fit. On live forms we have seen questions about age, work authorization, visa sponsorship, overtime, start date and desired salary.

It is the last step, Self-Attest & Submit. ADP asks you to tick "Yes, I agree to sign electronically." and type your full name. Submit sits on that same step, so you sign just before the application goes out.

ADP says job seekers can track their application status from submission to an offer. Employers can also write to you by branded email or text. Recruiter emails to your GetMattered address arrive in your GetMattered inbox.
