Oracle Recruiting Cloud applications filled and sent for you, code step included

Oracle starts with your email and can ask for a 6-digit code at two different points. Each employer then sets its own form. Here is what to expect.

Oracle Recruiting Cloud is the hiring part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Talent Management. Its application pages open on an oraclecloud.com address that belongs to the employer.

What actually happens

  1. You land on the posting

Oracle postings sit on an oraclecloud.com address under the employer’s own name.

  2. Email first

Pressing Apply opens a page that asks for an email. Some employers put their terms beside it.

  3. The employer’s form

Contact details, your address, work history with start and end dates, and the employer’s own questions. Many forms add voluntary questions such as veteran status.

  4. Filled from your profile

We tailor the resume, fill the form from your profile and leave optional marketing boxes unticked.

  5. Code and confirmation

If Oracle sends a 6-digit code, we read it from your application inbox and enter it. The "You’re all set" message is saved with the application.

What trips people up

  • The code step moves. A new email gets the 6-digit code after the application is sent, and a returning email gets it before the form opens.

  • An employer can switch off the code for new emails, so two Oracle sites can behave differently.

  • Some employers put their terms on the email step, and the form stays shut until that box is ticked.

  • Employers can run separate application flows for different kinds of hiring, so the questions change from site to site.

How you know it landed

Once the application is sent, Oracle shows a "You’re all set" message with your first name. A new email may also get a form asking for the 6-digit code. We keep that message with the application.

Questions people actually ask

No password is involved. Oracle ties your application to an email address and checks that it is yours with a 6-digit code. On GetMattered we read that code from your application inbox and enter it for you.

That means the email already has a candidate profile on that employer’s site. Oracle checks returning candidates first, then opens the form filled with the details from their last application.

Oracle locks you out after 5 wrong codes, and you wait 30 minutes before trying again.
