The best AIApply alternative in 2026 is AI Applyd. AIApply (aiapply.co) sells Auto Apply separately from its Premium toolkit, with resume and cover-letter tailoring as separate add-ons. AI Applyd puts auto-apply inside every paid plan, submits on the employer's own hiring system across 30 named systems, gets through Workday account walls without asking you for a single code, and counts an application as sent only when the employer confirms it.

Originally reviewed September 24, 2026. Billing and submission settings were rechecked against official documentation on October 14, 2026. Other dated competitor claims retain their original review date. By Ava Bagherzadeh, founder of AI Applyd, which publishes this guide.

Why people look for an AIApply alternative

AIApply is one of the loudest names in the category. Its headline is "Stop Applying for Weeks Start Interviewing in Days". It reports 2,064,348 users and says "80% land interviews within first month". Both are figures AIApply publishes about itself.

Buyers who keep looking usually run into one of three questions.

  • Check what the subscription includes. Auto Apply is separate from Premium. Resume tailoring and cover-letter tailoring are independent add-on subscriptions.
  • Check your target employers. Hiring-system coverage was not verified in this review. Confirm support for the employers you want before choosing a plan.
  • Check the submission record. Ask what evidence confirms a completed application. A tool's send status alone does not prove the employer has it.

None of this makes AIApply a bad product. Its products are sold separately, so compare the Auto Apply subscription and any tailoring add-ons you need with the plans below.

Each of the three has a full head-to-head page: AI Applyd vs AIApply, AI Applyd vs Tsenta and AI Applyd vs Sprout.

1. AI Applyd: auto-apply in the plan, sent on the employer's own system

AI Applyd is our product and our pick. The tagline is the brief: Auto-Apply That Ends on an Interview. On Hired Yesterday, switch on optional Autopilot and the agent does the whole job, in this order.

  1. Scores every new posting against your resume. Anything under your fit floor is skipped, so your plan is never spent on a job you would not take.
  2. Rewrites your resume and writes the cover letter for each role worth sending. From your real history, with no invented titles, skills or certifications.
  3. Answers the screener questions in your voice. The open-ended ones too, drawn from your own history.
  4. Gets past the account wall. It creates any account the employer demands and completes the email verification itself.
  5. Submits on the employer's own hiring system. The form a recruiter actually reads, not a job-board copy of it.
  6. Waits for the employer's confirmation. It lands in an inbox we watch for you, and it is the only thing we count as sent.

It submits on 30 named hiring systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, Personio, Teamtailor, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Breezy, Workable, Rippling, BambooHR, JazzHR, softgarden, Jobvite, Gem, Zoho Recruit, Dayforce, Hireology, Dover, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Paylocity, Oracle Taleo, UKG Pro Recruiting, ADP, Avature, CareerPlug, Pinpoint, Manatal and Eightfold. That is a list you can check against your target employers before you pay, one name at a time.

The free plan runs every month with no card: 10 ATS scores, 5 tailored resumes and 5 cover letters. Hired in 30 is $21.99 a week or $38.99 a month. Hired Yesterday is $37.99 a week or $89.99 a month. Both paid plans include tokens and sending, with optional non-expiring token top-ups. Hired Yesterday adds optional Autopilot. Failed or skipped runs do not use the application allowance, but tokens cover the compute a run uses. Every plan is on the pricing page.

It runs in the cloud, so there is nothing to install and no browser tab to keep open. Start it on your laptop, check it on your phone.

Best for: anyone who wants sending and tailoring included in a paid plan, with optional Autopilot on Hired Yesterday. Compare AI Applyd and AIApply side by side.

2. Tsenta: large allowances, optional review

Tsenta is backed by Y Combinator and states coverage of "30+ ATSes" and "50,000+ career pages". Of the three alternatives here, it has the largest allowances by far, and it is the one AIApply buyers most often weigh first.

  • Who it fits. People who want large monthly allowances with a choice of review before submission or automatic settings.
  • How sending works. Tsenta submits applications. Its settings let you review first or choose automatic submission.
  • What counts as sent. Tsenta describes application receipts with submitted fields, materials and confirmation details, plus reply tracking.
  • Pricing model. $19, $39 and $99 a month for 600, 1,500 and 4,500 applications, with 25 free applications once. Applications are included in the volume-based plans.
  • Hiring systems. Tsenta states "30+ ATSes" and names systems including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby.

Tsenta includes applications in its volume-based plans and makes review optional. AI Applyd sends the jobs you choose on both paid plans and offers optional Autopilot on Hired Yesterday. Compare the workflow and allowance you need. Compare AI Applyd and Tsenta, or read the full Tsenta alternatives guide.

3. Sprout: swipe-to-apply with optional review

Sprout (usesprout.com) has an app rated 4.8 on the App Store and reports 750,000+ users. It is the most consumer-style product of the three, built around a phone and a weekly rhythm.

  • Who it fits. People who prefer choosing jobs with a swipe and want optional manual review before submission.
  • How sending works. Swipe right to apply. In the web app, turn Manual Review off for automatic submission, or leave it on to review applications before they are sent.
  • What counts as sent. Sprout tracks application status in its app. Employer receipt evidence and hiring-system coverage were not verified in this review.
  • Pricing model. Sprout advertises $19.99 a week for 50 applications, $39.99 a month for 200, or $79.99 a quarter for 600. Its help center says jobs usually use 1 or 3 credits, and one-time credit packs are available. A subscription is required to apply.

Sprout starts with the jobs you swipe right on. Its web app can submit automatically when Manual Review is off. Credit use varies by job, and extra credit packs are optional. AI Applyd includes plan tokens on both paid plans and optional Autopilot on Hired Yesterday. Compare AI Applyd and Sprout, or read the full Sprout alternatives guide.

Plans, included tokens and optional add-ons

Check what the subscription includes, which extras are optional and when usage is charged before comparing the price.

AIApply separates Auto Apply from Premium and tailoring add-ons. Sprout uses credits when you swipe to apply. AI Applyd includes plan tokens and offers optional top-ups. Compare what each charge covers and how failed applications are handled.

  • What one unit buys. AI Applyd includes preparation and sending in its paid plans. Failed or skipped runs do not use the application allowance, but tokens cover the compute a run uses.
  • Who picks the jobs. A fit floor keeps weak postings out before a single field is filled. Spending on a job you would never take is the fastest way to burn a budget.
  • Where the application lands. The employer's own hiring system holds the copy a recruiter opens. A board copy often skips the questions the employer actually asks.

Compare the Auto Apply subscription and any tailoring add-ons at AIApply with AI Applyd's included plan tokens and optional top-ups. The current AI Applyd plans are on the pricing page.

What happens at a Workday or iCIMS account wall

Many employers on Workday and iCIMS make you create an account before you can apply. Then they email a code to prove the address is yours. This is the step where a lot of automation quietly hands the job back to you.

AI Applyd does not hand it back. It creates the account with an inbox we run for your applications, reads the verification email itself, enters the code and keeps going. You are never asked for a code, a password or a login. The next application to that employer signs in with the same account instead of starting over.

The mechanics are in how account walls and verification emails work and why Workday makes you create an account for every company.

What counts as a sent application

Every tool in this guide will show you a number. The useful question is what that number counts.

Scorecard

Last signalWhat it provesWhat it misses
The tool clicked SubmitThe tool reached the buttonA closed posting, an empty upload, a form that bounced
The page said thank youThe form accepted somethingWhether the employer's system kept it
The employer's confirmationThe employer has your applicationNothing. This is the one that counts

A posting that closed an hour ago, a resume that uploaded empty or an account wall that swallowed the form can all look like success from inside the browser. AI Applyd counts an application only when the employer's own system confirms it, and shows that confirmation in your dashboard. More on this in how to know your application was submitted.

“Your application is not sent until the company says it is.”

How to switch from AIApply to AI Applyd

Switching takes one sitting, and nothing about your search restarts.

  1. Upload the resume you already use. AI Applyd reads your history once and rewrites it for each role from then on.
  2. Set your roles and locations. Matching starts at once and ranks every new posting against your resume.
  3. Pick your fit floor. Anything under it is skipped, so your plan goes only to jobs worth sending.
  4. Choose how you apply. Swipe right to send a chosen job on either paid plan. On Hired Yesterday, you can turn on optional Autopilot for new matches.
  5. Watch the confirmations arrive. Each application is marked sent when the employer confirms it, and every one shows up in your dashboard.

You can keep AIApply running while you try it. The free plan needs no card, so you can compare both on the same week of postings before you cancel anything.

Five questions to ask any AIApply alternative

  1. Is auto-apply in the price, or sold on top? Know the whole cost before you start.
  2. Who sends the application? If the answer is you, one approval at a time, the work moved into a queue.
  3. Which hiring systems, by name? A named list can be checked. A round number cannot.
  4. What happens at an account wall? If the sign-up and the emailed code come back to you, the hard half is still yours.
  5. What counts as sent? Only the employer's confirmation proves the employer has it.

AI Applyd answers all five from the employer's side. For the whole field on one page, see the best auto-apply tools roundup and the best auto-apply tools of 2026.
